Pete Rae

Pete Rae brings over 20 years of experience in the payments industry across the ecosystem, with a focus on card issuing, ATM and network solutions. His client approach is rooted in thought leadership — helping financial institutions navigate rapid change, competitive pressures and evolving economics. At First Data (now Fiserv), Rae held various leadership roles, including Head of Client Strategy & Sales for the STAR Network, where he led sales and retention efforts and managed a team serving both issuing and acquiring clients.
Previously, Rae also led Co-op Solutions’ sales teams, expanding credit union partnerships and delivering technology solutions aligned with accountholder needs. His issuing experience and long-standing relationship with Co-op bring a unique perspective to his sales leadership role. Rae is passionate about advancing the success of financial institutions in serving their customers. He earned a degree in Business from the University of Richmond and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
